How to market rural areas

Local producers, processors of quality products and service providers of environment – friendly tourism services are mostly very small family businesses with absolutely no experiences in promotion, or long term strategy planning for market placing. They are seeking for production and processing skills, and also developing new communication and marketing strategies for the commercialisation of their products. Dutch SPN and its partners have already achieved impressive results in this field but in general there is a strong interest in exchanging knowledge and experiences with partner organisations in fellow EU countries in order to learn and gain skills and to support small scale producers.
